Dentist in Oral Medicine
Dr Tami Yap obtained a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours in 2006 from Melbourne University and obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2013. She completed training in Oral Medicine at Melbourne University in 2015 and currently works at the Alfred Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.
Dr Yap is part of multidisciplinary Dermatology teams at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation. She continues to be involved in teaching at the Melbourne Dental School and is completing a PhD in early detection of oral cancer. Her research has been presented at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed international journals.
